Introduction

GlobalTT's Global MICROSAT is a portable telephone with long range which is extremely compact and light. It provides access to a line for voice, fax or data from regions in the world where other forms of telecommunications are below standard, unreliable or non-existent.

The Microsat consists of a receiver handset, a telephone interface for phone or fax (RJ11) and a Hayes compatible data connection at 2.4 Kbps for the transfer of data; each has its own call number (4 in total).

The small and flat antenna is waterproof and sealed for usage outdoors and can be used at a distance up to 300 metres from the optional indoor unit (IDU).

GlobalTT's MICROSAT is equipped with intelligent software which guides the antenna more efficiently and quickly towards one of the four geostationary satellites which are available in the global network.
