HOT BIRD™ 6 :: 13° EAST

Offering a total of 32 transponders (28 Ku-band, 4 Ka-band) and eight SKYPLEX units for on-board multiplexing, HOT BIRD™ 6 delivers digital television and radio channels to satellite and cable homes in Europe, North Africa and large parts of the Middle East, reinforcing one of the largest broadcasting systems in Europe.

In addition to broadcast television services, the system provides both interactive as well as multimedia services over the same wide coverage area and for professional applications such as videoconferencing, LAN interconnection, e-learning, Telemedecine, media & corporate file delivery, game networks and much more.
